Maruti Suzuki Cars
  • The Number One Choice of the Indian Car Buyer

2
Maruti is one of the iconic Indian brands that
have been able to touch the lives of millions of
Indians.
  • If there is an iconic Indian automobile brand,
which is favoured by the Indians, it can be none
other brand than Maruti Suzuki. During its
existence spanning over more than three decades
now, this automaker has persistently offered some
great cars for the masses at relatively cheap
rates. Earlier known as Maruti Udyog Limited,
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has become one of the
most loved brands as far as the average Indian
car buyer is concerned. Even though it is a
subsidiary of the Japanese carmaker Suzuki Motor
Corporation at present, Maruti has a market share
of nearly 45 in the Indian passenger car market
presently. Currently, Maruti has a fleet of 16
models of cars with more than 150 variants
offered in the passenger car segment.
  • Most of the Maruti cars are recognized for their
affordability and low maintenance expenses. The
company has presence across all passenger car
segments like hatchbacks, sedans, compact sedans
and SUVs among others. Maruti dominates the
compact car segment consisting of entry-level
cars and hatchbacks, with the others failing to
catch up with it. Here is a quick look at some
of the most successful Maruti Suzuki cars.
