Huawei B593 Login Instructions

• Find Your Huawei B593 Router IP Address
  192.168.1.1. Put the Internal IP Address of your
  Huawei B593 in the Address Bar of your web
  browser.
• Enter default username and password in the dialog
  box that pops up. Username (blank), password
  admin
• Then you can see Huawei B593 Home Screen, which
  looks like this

• Login Huawei B593
• To change your LAN IP Address, the address you
  can see when inside your home network, click the
  choice labeled General Settings. Doing so opens a
  new list of links, pick the one labeled DHCP
  Settings.

Change Huawei B593 IP Address

• You are now on the page where you can change your
  home network IP Address. Place your cursor in the
  box labeled IP Address under the heading of LAN
  Host Settings. Enter your new address you have
  chosen for your router here. We recommend using
  an address such as 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
• Don't change the Subnet mask or any of the DHCP
  Settings. The only thing left to do is to click
  the Submit button down in the lower right corner
  of the box.

WiFi Settings on Huawei B593

1. Login To The Huawei B593 and find the WiFi
   Settings from menu.
2. Begin on the Device Information page of the
   Huawei B593 router. To configure the WiFi
   settings, click the link on the left side of the
   page labeled General Settings. Then, beneath
   that, pick WLAN Settings.
3. This directs you to the page you see above. In
   the first section titled General Settings use the
   drop down menu titled Channel to be sure you are
   on channel 1,6, or 11. Read our guide titled WiFi
   Channels for more information.
4. The next section is titled Interface Profile. In
   the first box, titled SSID, enter an original
   name for your network. This is your network
   identification. It's not important what you enter
   here, but we recommend avoiding personal
   information.
5. Next, is a box titled Maximum number of connected
   devices. Go ahead and enter the number of devices
   you plan on allowing on your network at one time.
   You can enter any number from 1-32.
6. Now skip down to the Security drop down list. For
   the best security available with today's
   technology pick the option of WPA2-PSK
   (recommended). Learn why this is the best when
   you read our guide titled WEP vs. WPA.
7. You are now asked for the WPA-PSK. This is
   basically asking what you want your network
   password to be. It is important that you create a
   strong password of at least 14 characters here.
   The longer a password is the stronger it becomes.
   
8. The last thing you may want to change is the WPA
   encryption. There are three choices here, TKIP,
   AES, or Both. Our recommendation is AES.
9. You did it, the only thing left to do is click
   the Submit button.
