  grooming of your electric bikes. Make sure you

• 1. Brakes They should be neither too loose nor
  too tight. Test it so that you can stop the bike
  instantly.

• 2. Damp-free care Light maintenance should be
  the idea behind regular grooming. Wipe with linen
  cloth before and after taking a ride.

• 3. Tires You should stick to the normal air
  pressure levels and check it daily. If you are
  riding with low tire pressure, the treads may
  wear out quickly and also result in poor braking
  and lot of vibration.

• 4. Battery Status Allowing the battery to charge
  completely is one way to prolong its life. You
  may lower the efficacy of the bikes battery if
  you charge daily without letting it discharge.

• 5. Monsoon Monsoon is troublesome for electric
  bikes. Just scrub the metallic parts to free them
  from rust deposits. During monsoon, the grease,
  oil and hair may wind into the wheel rims and the
  brakes.

• Unlike the petrol bikes, the electric bikes are
  literally free from the constant trouble of air
  filters, spark plugs and carburetors. You may not
  be able to visit the local bike shop too often as
  your e-bike remains in top condition with regular
  grooming. Not much to miss, it seems!!!
