About Us

• In 1985, a caribou shed was discovered 100 feet
  behind the Main Guest House of Caribou Bay
  Retreat.
• It is believed to be 12,500 years BP (before the
  present) of age.

  discovered in Wisconsin and sits prominently in a
  glass case in the retreats Great Room.
• Caribou Bay is located on the terminal moraine of
  the Ice Age Trail.
