About Us

• The 90s are commonly referred to as the gold
  rush era for the internet. Anyone with a dream
  and a small
• amount of money could register a domain name.
• It was during this time that our CEO Carl Bootsma
  knew the internet was going to be a hit. With a
  focus on
• community pages times were great and the internet
  boom had started.
• During the summer of 2013 605Web.com Inc. was
  created and the company purchased LocalBest.com
  from its
• previous owner and selected a number of other
  domain names for development including
  TrustedScores.com,
• UnderCoverReviews.com, and VotedLocalBest.com
  just to name a few.
• As we look towards the future our focus on
  customer satisfaction, community involvement, and
  product
• innovation will help guide LocalBest.com to be
  the new gold rush website of the future.W

How voting works?

• Its pretty simple, throughout the year we have a
  Featured Vote on our home page to encourage
  voting in a
• particular category.  As a voter you can simply
  vote in that category or at any time click on the
  VOTE box in each business listing.
• Once you are in the voting area you will see a
  list of all the businesses listed under that
  sub-category you can
• vote for.  Click on the check box in front of the
  business you would like to select as the Local
  Best for that sub-
• category and hit submit on the bottom. 
• You may vote in as many sub-categories as you
  would like but once you place a vote it cannot be
  changed!  You
• can always come back and vote in categories you
  have not voted in until the end of that years
  voting.
• We try to keep our data as accurate as possible
  so if you see an error in a listing or your
  favorite business is not
• listed please let us know by sending an email to
  support_at_localbest.com and once verified we will
  add/change/
• remove listings as needed.

How reviews work?

• Any member can submit one review per business per
  year.  You can review as many businesses as you
  would
• like but you must follow our review guidelines. 
• You must also live within the selected area of
  that business to leave a review.
• This is to protect from bogus reviews and ratings
  and will be used to determine what geographical
  area you
• are allowed to vote in.
• Membership is limited to one per email address
  and one per phone number.

• Can only Review/Rate in your local area
• Limit one account per email address
• Limit one account per phone number
• Use of vulgar/offensive language is not allowed
• Do not use private information in reviews
• Do not use intellectual property
• Review/Rate only businesses you have used
• User membership is FREE to anyone who meets and
  follows our requirements.
