EMP Protection

• EMP stands for electromagnetic pulse and is a
  surge of electromagnetic energy that could either
  be made manifest in radiation, magnetic or
  electrical form. It can either be natural by
  virtue of lightning which produces a more
  localized type of energy surge that may increase
  the current in nearby electric wires and cause
  power blackouts and such. This is what most of us
  have seen.

However the major concerns result from man-made
causes, most notoriously from nuclear detonation.
The energy from this is usually intense and the
effects are devastating. It can damage utility
poles, telephone lines as well as electrical
equipment. For a number of years, though secretly
done, EMPs have been used as a weapon by some
governments to cripple communication. Blind a
soldier for a few minutes and he loses his life,
blind an entire army for half an hour you have a
blood bath.
The frightening thing about EMPs is that while
the source may be at one point, the energy
released can span over very wide geographical
regions and even continents according to recent
studies. The effects are catastrophic, often
being likened to the end of times or Armageddon.
No communication in a world where virtually
everything we do is dependent on a modern
communication system based on technology is
something none of us can imagine. Hospitals would
lose countless patients and headlines everywhere
will carry end times news and the world would be
in utmost disorder.

The Last Days
Transport systems would be severely affected by
EMPs. It is estimated that on any given business
day over 4,000 airplanes are flying. Take the
case of a pilot who is faced with total system
failure flying above an ocean, communication with
flight control at the airport is fruitless and
panic starts to set in. The loss of life from
such incidents would be heart breaking. These are
real threats if electromagnetic pulses were to
spin out of control. Internal chaos would
eventually culminate to the collapse of most
governments and we would face the threat of new
world orders a phenomenon associated with the
end of days.

Its going to be a chaotic time, more or less
like youve imagined the end times would be, so
every survival means within your reach should be
utilized before a more permanent solution can be
accessed. The effects of EMPs as discussed above
can be very dire and its the hope of each one of
us that we should never be victims of such an
occurrence. It could strike when we least expect
so it is good to be mentally prepared and face
the situation with all the means available.
