What is Breast Augmentation?
Breast augmentation and breast mammoplasty are
cosmetic procedures performed to increase the
size or change the shape of a womans breasts.

Surgery Specifics

• The surgical implantation procedure changes the
  look, feel, and dimension of the breast by using
  implants filled with either saline solution or
  silicone gel.
• The augmentation procedure may include the
  application of skin flaps taken from the
  patients body.
• Fat grafts can also be used to change the size
  and correct the shape and texture of the breasts.

Important Tips

• Choose a plastic surgeon who is a Board Certified
  with a breast fellowship and plenty of
  experience.
• Remember to ask about the surgeons surgical
  technique.
• Follow post-surgery instructions massage as
  often as every two hours for up to four weeks.

• Avoid aspirin, calcium, and fish oil before
  surgery
• Be in a positive and healthy state of mind. How
  we feel mentally and emotionally can affect how
  well a patient handles the surgery, and how well
  she recovers.
