The curious affair of David Arnold of AoFAQ and
the Dominatrix
On the face of it, David Arnold, the dimunitive
5ft 4inch Director of AoFAQ and Claire Currie,
who promotes her core Dominatrix service as a
strong woman competitor in the company of
impossibly huge bodybuilders would have little in
common one would think! David Arnold as the
main director of AoFAQ, has until recently
enjoyed the cosy and lucrative position of
administrating the issuing of regulated
certificates in several areas including health
and safety and first aid. As an awarding company
they provide the course certificates in support
of trainers who actually do the real training.
These trainers join AoFAQ to gain the benefits of
protection and compliance procedures for
complaints, legislation changes and the
like. A0FAQ is a small business set up supported
by four or five clerical staff and an efficient
laser printer. It has inflated its own importance
by producing a veritable mountain of accompanying
forms and paperwork. A mountain that has prompted
the Health Safety Executive to de-regulate the
sector in order to promote more efficient and
flexible training options. One AoFAQ member who
also works in the newly de-regulated sector with
their own seperate approval process and
instructor training course, were running a test
of AoFAs first aid regulated certificates as
part of their procurement process. The outcome
was a little disturbing!

The complaints came in from each course that the
AoFAQ papers were confusing and contradictory.
Indeed the AoFAQ paperwork for one course was
described by a Doctor who attended as Not Fit
For Purpose. The findings were presented to
AoFA who were given the opportunity to revise
their systems for the following course or the
member would pull out of the AoFAQ
programme. The answer was simple for AoFAQ
Enter Claire Currie, a Midlands based
Dominatrix originally from Illinois in the USA
who is active in the underground Fetish Sex scene
specializing in aggression towards men and
services such as financial domination who goes
under the alias of Dita_Von_W_Lash. She turned
up to the Independent first-aid trainers course
(incognito, of course) with some 16 earings and
an imitation 4ct size upper lip stud in her top
lip. Words were positioned regarding the obvious
health and safety issue and the lip stud was
eventually removed but not without a protest from
Claire who was visibly annoyed. Claire
(Dita_Von_W_Lash) gained a pass on the course and
gave it a high score on the evaluation sheets
provided. Following the course she then placed
several internet posts up including setting up a
blog site discrediting the training company, its
director and claiming there was a complaint
lodged to AoFAQ about the course. She then
proceeded to canvas other people on the course,
persuading them that they could simply cancel any
payment by saying they were not satisfied and in
effect have the training for nothing. Not
surprisingly, several people were happy to go
along with it despite the fact they would face
court proceeding and that they also had no
complaints at the time and had also positively
evaluted the course on forms provided. This
would not seem so strange to some but the
complaint was only made to the company after the
online posting had been put in place and to all
involved it was clear there was something
peculiar about the circumstances. Not to worry.
AoFAQ would follow the process for their member
and support their member to deal with this type
of fraudulent discrediting of the AoFAQ course
well thats what one would assume. So the
question is simple Why did David Arnold of
AoFAQ then do something completely opposite to
this by supporting a claim with many obvious
anomolies against a professional member and
director of 14 years experience. David Arnold
of AoFAQ not only supported the views of
Dita_Von_W_Lash but went the extra mile and
deliberately caused the member centre to face a
range of business disruption, negative publicity
and financial loss. A newly de-regulated sector
with training companies allowed to deliver first
aid training without the need of an awarding
company like AoFAQ but had joined an AO to
compete fairly must have all been to much for
David Arnold of AoFAQ.

Was this a set up of David Arnold a director of
AoFAQ to compete unfairly and breech EU Laws and
support such a campaign. Maybe the truth is
somewhat darker? Bribery? Fear? Or is this just a
case of hidden desires? We would like to receive
