• Mitsubishi cars came to India after the Birla
  Group-owned, Kolkata-based, the Hindustan Motors
  Limited (HML), the makers of the Ambassador cars
  in collaboration with with the Japanese giant,
  Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in 1998 and
  launched the Mitsubishi Lancer passenger cars
  with powerful and efficient 1.5-liter petrol and
  2.0-liter diesel engines.

• However, the company discontinued Lancer along
  with some other popular models such as the
  Mitsubishi Cedia, Mitsubishi Montero and
  Mitsubishi Outlander and launched the Mitsubishi
  Pajero Sport in 2012.

• An Ex-showroom price for Mitsubishi Pajero Sport
  is between from Rs 25.15 and 25.94 lakhs.
• The new SUV is fitted with a 2.5l DI-D Variable
  Geometrical Turbo Diesel engine mated to a
  5-speed AT or MT, while the 4 wheel drive (4WD)
  is available only on the manual one and 4x2 is
  offered on the automatic version.

  of churning out peak power of 178 Ps at 4000 rpm
  and a maximum torque of a whopping 350 Nm between
  1800 to 3500 rpm.

  immobilizer and crash detection door lock system
  shutdown are some of the other eminent safety
  equipment offered on the variant.
