Who Is Gandhi?

• Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on October 2
  1869 at Porbandar, Gujarat. His parents are
  Karamchand Gandhi (Father), Putlibai Gandhi
  (Mother).
• He was most important leader during Indian
  independence movement when British Ruled India.
• Also known as Bapu, Mahatma Gandhi,and Gandhiji

Gandhiji's Life

• Bapu lived a simple life modestly in a
  self-sufficient residential community and he
  undertook long fasts as a means of both
  self-purification and social protest.
• He weared only simple dress made by his own hand
  which is known as khadi.
• He followed ahimsa for his later life and he
  lives a life like what he wants the world to look
  like.
