Jose Pineiro is a professional software developer

with Apollo Group of companies for more than 25
years. He became a part of this group when he
joined Apollo Ship Chandlers, Inc. in 1988 as a
Software Developer. It is a privately owned
company that provides cruise and hotel related
services like warehousing logistics, marine
staffing, food and beverage, etc.

Initially, he was assigned the responsibility to
develop a requisition system for cruise ships,
which he completed within 12 years. Owing to his
dedication and hard work, he was promoted to IT
Manager in December 2000. Jose Pineiro was
involved in the development and implementation of
a new HR system. He faced all the difficulties
with courage, and successfully implemented the HR
system by the end of 2004.

solutions to improve corporate efficiencies. He
has given an excellent contribution to the growth
and success of the Apollo Group. He has been
involved in managing all technology initiatives
of the group companies. Being an active
professional, he likes participating in different
physical activities such as jogging and scuba
