Educational Background

• Linje Rivers was brought up in Tallahassee,
  Florida. He is an alumni of the Morehouse
  College, where he was awarded with a Bachelors
  degree in Business Administration, while
  graduating with distinction. He pressed on with
  his education with passion and diligence, and in
  2009, he graduated from the University of Florida
  receiving his Doctor of Law degree in the process.

He was a sociable person during his school days,
and he was a fellow of numerous professional and
non-professional associations such as the
Morehouse Business Association, the Black Law
Students Association, John Marshall Bar
Association, Association for Tax Law, Association
for Business Law, Emma and Joe Adams Public
Service scholarship, the Estates and Trusts
Society, Habitat for Humanity and the Kiwanis
Club.

Work Experience

• He has worked in quite a number of high-ranking
  capacities, and has upheld himself as one of the
  best in his line of career. His first taste of
  work was in 2007, when he served as a summer
  associate at a prestigious firm in Sarasota,
  Florida. There he was assigned to manage partners
  in the commercial litigation, medical
  malpractice, land use, and administrative law
  sections of the firm, and to analyze federal and
  state constitutional issues as it pertained to
  the Sarasota County School Boards liberties and
  limitations. At one time he conducted research
  and participated in drafting response to a 500
  claimant class action law suit brought against
  client.

In June 2010, he started working at the Florida
Department of Financial Services, with focus on
the prosecution and enforcement of the funeral
home industry, bail bonds agents, state fire
marshal, insurance agents, and insurance
agencies. And in June 2015, he was assigned to
the prosecution and enforcement section of the
Division of Consumer Finance under the Florida
Office of Financial Regulation, to regulate
mortgage lenders, loan originators, and money
services businesses.

Hobbies

• Apart from being a seasoned law representative,
  he is also a sociable person, and he enjoys
  numerous fun activities such as playing and
  watching soccer, listening to cool music,
  learning new languages, lifting weights, playing
  and watching golf, and reading. He also has a
  keen interest in real estate and antique cars.
