2Andrew Stoner is a reputed former MP from
Australia. He was born in 1960 in Brisbane, later
moving with his family shifted to Port Macquarie,
NSW. He was the Leader of the New South Wales
National Party from 2003 to 2014 and Deputy
Premier of New South Wales from 2011 to 2014. He
also served as the Leader of the Nationals in NSW
and as Minister and the Member for Oxley.
3In 2011, he was elected Deputy Premier and was
the Minister for Trade and Investment, Tourism
and Major Events, Regional Infrastructure and
Services, and Small Business. In addition to
this, he also served as Shadow Minister for
various portfolios including Natural Resources,
Skills Development, Primary Industries, Emergency
Services, Sport and Recreation, Education and
State Development.
4Andrew Stoner led the development and
implementation of Industry Action Plans in
partnership with key industry sectors. These
sectors included the digital economy, advanced
manufacturing, visitor economy, agribusiness,
professional services, international education
and research, and creative industries. As Trade
Minister and Deputy Premier of NSW, he developed
a wide range of contacts in Asia, Middle East and
North America, in both government and business.

6Andrew Stoner holds a Bachelors degree in
Business from Queensland University of Technology
and a Master in Business Administration from
James Cook University. Besides this, he actively
participates in social and community activities
as patron of many sporting and community
organizations.
