2The State-level Commerce and Industry Department
officers held a review of the condition. These
officials reviewed a number of investments in the
sector of Information Technology sector, solar
energy, agriculture and forest produce-based
industries.
3Chief Minister instructed the concerned officers
to upgrade the skills of youth under the Skills'
Development Programme and be in touch with I.T.Is
and Livelihood Colleges in their areas of
operation. The skills should be developed as per
the requirements of the local industry.
4The compensation should be paid to the
land-owners as soon as possible as per the norms.
Chhattisgarh Political system now being governed
by CM, who has instructed the officers to
prepare a report for establishing rice mills at
Rajnandgaon, Kawardha and Bemetara districts.
5According to the 'Digital India' campaign, the
Chhattisgarh State Departments will go Online
according. The State Government offices will be
linked at village, district-level. Any applicant
who is willing to establish an industry in a
district will be registered immediately at the
District Industries and Commercial Centres.
6For smoothening the process of starting
industries, the Chhattisgarh Political has
decided to ease laws and rules for industries and
yet to be established industries in Chhattisgarh.
It is an important step to smoothen the process
of starting industries. The Industrial Policy of
2014-19 has made a provision of self-attestation
in Boiler Law.
7The authorities have decided to protect
environment and encourage industries in
Chhattisgarh. 'Ease of Doing Business' policy
will be followed and the rules for starting
industries and business will be smooth. The
annual inspections of Boilers and certification
will be replaced by third party inspectors and
self-certification.
8Chhattisgarh Political Commerce and Industry has
acquired the proposal of providing clear legal
framework and proper tax system to support the
rapid growth of e-commerce. E-commerce industry
is governed by IT Act, 2000 and there is no
specific law.
9Even tax rates are not same in all states.
Keeping in mind the fast growth of e-commerce
there is an urgent need for legal framework as in
future this could lead to legal obstacles.
