What is virus-

• A computer virus is a program or piece of code
  that is loaded onto your computer without your
  knowledge and runs against your wishes.

TYPES OF VIRUSES-Resident VirusesThis type of
virus is a permanent which dwells in the RAM
memory.Boot VirusThis type of virus affects
the boot sector of a floppy or hard disk.

Network VirusNetwork viruses rapidly spread
through a Local Network Area (LAN), and sometimes
throughout the internet.EX-The most dangerous
network viruses are Nimda and SQLSlammer.

one was called the Creeper Virus. It was designed
in 1971 by Bob Thomas at BBN Technologies.

software, sometimes known as anti-malware
software, is computer software used to prevent,
detect and remove malicious software.In
particular, modern antivirus software can protect
from malicious Browser Helper Objects, browser
