Overview

• Linje Rivers, age 30, is a Senior Attorney for
  the Florida Office of Financial Regulation in his
  hometown of Tallahassee, Florida. He graduated
  from the University of Florida with a law degree
  in 2009. He can practice law in both the state of
  Georgia and the state of Florida. He is a
  hardworking attorney who enjoys his job with the
  government.

Education

• Prior to attending the University of Florida,
  Linje Rivers attended Morehouse College. He
  excelled at his classes at the leadership-driven
  college. He participated in many school programs,
  including the Morehouse Student Senate. During
  his time at Morehouse, he was a member of the
  Morehouse Business Association. Once in law
  school at the University of Law School he
  participated in the John Marshall Bar Association.

Volunteering

• Linje Rivers cares about others and frequently
  volunteers. He has worked with the United Ways
  Community Services Program. He volunteers with
  Habitat for Humanity to build homes for the
  homeless. Rivers continues to work with the
  Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program for those
  who may not be able to afford the traditional
  avenues of tax filing. Rivers also participates
  in the Legal Aid Foundation, which gives legal
  counsel to those who cant afford it otherwise.
  He is Treasurer and a board member of the
  Tallahassee base Legal Aid Foundation.

Working for the Government

• Linje Rivers feels that he is making a difference
  by working for the government. He hopes to
  continue working for the government in different
  capacities in the future. Eventually, he sees
  himself as general counsel for a large government
  agency. Rivers natural leadership skills that
  come from his outgoing personality have served
  him well in his professional relationship with
  the government.

Hobbies

• Rivers has a passion for learning, and as such is
  an avid reader. He plays soccer, runs, and lifts
  weights in order to stay healthy. He plays golf,
  enjoys listening to music and likes antique cars.
  Ofcourse, much of his free time is filled up with
  his various volunteer efforts.
