What is IVF Treatment
  • In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a fertility
treatment in which sperm and eggs are combined in
a laboratory. The resulting embryo or embryos are
transferred to the woman's uterus, where they
    grow into a baby.

6
Infertility treatment
  • Most people will have the strong desire to
conceive a child at some point during their
    lifetime. Understanding what defines normal
fertility is crucial to helping a person, or
couple, know when it is time to seek help. Most
    couples (approximately 85) will achieve
pregnancy within one year of trying, with the
    greatest likelihood of conception occurring
    during the earlier months

Laparoscopic surgery
Laparoscopy is a surgery that uses a thin,
lighted tube put through a cut (incision) in the
belly to look at the abdominal organs or the
female pelvic organs. Laparoscopy is used to find
problems such as cysts, adhesions, fibroids and
infection. Tissue samples may be taken through
the tube (laparoscope) for a biopsy . In many
cases laparoscopy, is done instead of laparotomy
surgery that uses a larger incision in the
belly. Laparoscopy is less stressful and may have
fewer problems and cost lesser than laparotomy
for minor surgeries. It can often be done without
needing to stay overnight in the hospital.
8
Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is a procedure that allows a
gynaecologist to see the inside of the uterus
(womb). Hysteroscopy procedure may be used for
either diagnosis or treatment. A diagnostic
Hysteroscopy takes only a few minutes and is
sometimes performed in the Outpatient Department
(OPD) while you are awake, called asOffice
Hysteroscopy Hysteroscopy for the treatment of a
certain medical condition is usually performed
under a general anaesthetic in the Day Surgery
Unit.

Child Birth
  • Epidural analgesia is considered as a safe,
effective and easily adjustable pain control
modality for childbirth. It can be used to
partially or fully numb the lower body, either
allowing you enough feeling to push with your
contractions or blocking all feeling for a
cesarean delivery if that becomes necessary. With
a low dose of medication (light epidural), you
may also be able to walk around, which can make
    you more comfortable.
  • Instrumental Delivery
  • It has an assisted birth, where forceps or a
ventouse suction cup (ventouse) are used to help
deliver the babys head. This can be because
  • There are concerns about the babys heart rate
  • Your baby is in an awkward position
  • Youre too exhausted
