Teeth Whitening
Include over the counter whitening products such
as tooth pastes, mouth washes or whitening
strips. These products are usually helpful in
maintaining your white teeth after professional
whitening procedures have been performed.

In home whitening kit which is made for you by
our Las Vegas dentist and includes custom trays
that are made to fit your teeth only and
bleaching gel to place in the tray for gradual
whitening of your teeth at home. This kit is
recommended for use after Zoom whitening for
touch-ups.

Zoom whitening which is performed by your dentist
and result in white teeth in one appointment. The
appointment is usually 1-1 ½ hr long and the
procedure includes 3 rounds of 15 minutes
whitening with the use of a UV light that
accelerates the process of whitening. Other
comparable lights are also available in the
market that give similar results, however our
Dentist recommends Zoom and has achieved best
results with this type of light for years. There
may be some post-op sensitivity with this
procedure but very minimal and short lived.

Porcelain veneers are coverings that are cemented
on the outer surfaces of teeth to help mask the
problem areas.

Your teeth will need to be slightly adjusted and
re-shaped before dental veneers are placed on for
more natural results. Veneers are recommended for
teeth with severe stains, spaces, small
fractures, minor alignment issues or simply to
improve the shape of your teeth to your pleasing.
This is a good alternative to braces that require
longer treatment time.
No prep veneers or Lumineers are a type of veneer
in which minimal tooth reduction or no reduction
at all would be necessary. Once installed, dental
veneers need simple care and maintenance.

Orthodontics
This is the branch of dentistry in which they use
a combination of metal or clear brackets with
wires and elastics to move teeth in the correct
position for better occlusion and esthetics.

Invisalign is commonly used for people that need
minor teeth movements or do not like the look of
brackets. It consists of a series of plastic
trays that are custom made and will gradually
align your teeth. With Invisalign patients need
to be compliant in order to achieve the desired
results. This is why children will not be a good
candidate for this treatment option.
The recommended age for an orthodontic
appointment for children is 7 yrs old since some
problems can be fixed during early ages to
prevent more severe problems in the future. Teeth
movement is easier in children than in adults due
to density of the bone.

treatment during early ages. However age is no
longer an issue with orthodontic treatment. There
is no reason for you not to have straight and
