Before founding South Coast Partnerships, Inc.,
John Church worked as the Executive Vice
President of Partnership Development at JMI
between 2008 and 2010. In this role he was
responsible for helping clients to form and
maintain relationships with corporate clients,
which often involved taking part in tense
negotiations in addition to ensuring that the
client delivered everything that was needed in
order to ensure the partnership was a success and
that sponsorships were maintained for as long a
period as possible.
2John Church Success of the brand
After leaving his role at JMI, where he worked in
a number of positions that culminated in an
Executive Vice President role in 2008, John
Church JMI went on to found South Coast
Partnerships, Inc., in 2014. The company works
with a number of sport and entertainment clients,
with MotoAmerica being one of the largest. Church
currently works with the group as Commercial
Director, ensuring the continued success of the
brand while also playing a large role in the
creation of partnerships that will help the brand
move forward in the future.
3John Church Career at JMI
Though he is now the founder and President of
South Coast Partnerships, Inc., John Church
enjoyed a successful career at JMI before
striking out on his own. Starting out at the
company as the Vice President of Sports
Marketing, Church soon progressed to become the
Senior Vice President of Business Development in
2004. A little over a year later he became the
Chief Development Officer at the company before
taking over the role of Executive Vice President
of Partnership Development. He held this role
until 2010.
4John Church University Career
Before beginning his career, which has seen him
work for Phoenix Professional Baseball, JMI and
South Coast Partnerships, Inc., John Church
attended Arizona State University between 1986
and 1990. He majored in Business Finance,
eventually using the skills that he learned at
university to great benefit during the course of
his career. He now works closely with a number of
clients in the sports and entertainment
industries, helping them to broker corporate
sponsorship deals and ensuring that business
relationships are maintained.
