Barry Wasserman, Ph.D. Barry has been a Camp
Director for 26 years. Prior to creating Eagles
Landing, Barry was the Director of both Eagle
River Day Camp in Monroe for 8 years and Lake-Vu
Day Camp in East Brunswick for 14 years. Barry
served on the Board of Advisors for Camp America,
a division of the American Institute for Foreign
Study (AIFS).
Ruth Ann Ruth Ann has been a Camp Director for 18
years. Prior to Eagles Landing, Ruth Ann was the
Director of Eagle River Day Camp in Monroe for 8
years and the Head Counselor of Lake-Vu Day Camp
for 4 years. Ruth Ann grew up in camp and spent
many years working in non-profit facilities. She
has served as an administrator in camps in both
New Jersey and Delaware. Ruth Ann received her
certification as a pre-school teacher.

3Our Programs
Kiddie Kingdom For campers ages 3-5 This full-day
program provides campers with a variety of
scheduled activities at an age-appropriate level
to meet their needs. They will experience
ceramics, nature, soccer and much more! In
addition, campers will have instructional swim
every day taught by American Red Cross Water
Safety Instructors who are trained to work with
children.
Mini Day For campers ages 3-5 Our Mini Day
program is offered to our youngest campers.
Designed for 3-5 year olds, the day begins at
900 AM and ends with a parent pick-up at 130
PM. You can drop-off your camper in the morning
or opt for our transportation service. When you
arrive for pick-up at 130 PM youll be able to
see their progress on a daily basis.

Full Day Program For campers entering grades 1-5
Our Full Day program is offered for campers
entering grades 1-5. Campers have scheduled
activities that are age-appropriate in each of
the different activity areas at camp. Arts and
crafts, sports, a ropes course and dozens of
other activities round out a varied program. Once
campers reach third grade, they participate in
our elective program which gives them the freedom
to choose some of their activities.
Trip Program For campers entering grades 6-8 Our
Trip Program starts in 6th grade and gives
campers the opportunity to leave camp once a week
to go on a full-day trip. Previous trips have
included Six Flags Great Adventure, tubing on the
Delaware River and Jenkinsons Beach. Campers who
are in 8th grade go on an additional half-day
trip each week to places like Rebounderz and the
Silverball Pinball Museum.

Counselor in Training For campers entering grade
10 Our Counselor in Training (CIT) program is
a great option for the kids entering 10th grade.
We work closely with our CITs empowering them
while teaching life skills for the future. They
spend most of their day working in an area of
camp that interests them, they get evaluated by
the teacher that oversees the program and they
find out what it takes to work in "the real
world."
Leader in Training For campers entering grade
9 Our Leader in Training (LIT) program is for
campers entering 9th grade. Arts and crafts,
sports, a ropes course and dozens of other
activities round out a varied program. Every
afternoon LIT campers will spend the last few
periods of their day working with younger campers
and learning skills they will use as a CIT.

Eagles Landing offers a variety of activities to
meet the interests and abilities of every camper.
Our Fine Arts Program includes our large Arts and
Crafts and Ceramics Studios, Performing Arts,
Creative Dramatics, Wood Shop and both Baking and
Cooking Studios. Our Science and Technology Labs
are always popular and the home for our Mad
Science, Nature, STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering and Mathematics), Electronics,
Computers and Go-Pro Cameras. Our 20-acre
property is packed with sports fields and courts
galore. We offer something for everyone including
Soccer, Basketball, Softball, Tennis, Ga Ga,
Lacrosse, Football, Archery, Mountain Biking and
Hockey. Be sure to check out our awesome "Tower
of Power" Climbing Wall and 300' Zip Line. For
campers who have a passion for the arts, sciences
or sports, we offer Talented and Gifted (TAG)
Electives as well.

Talented and Gifted (TAG) Our TAG Program gives
campers the opportunity to take advanced
electives in a number of differnt areas. These
electives will focus on art, science and
athletics. A sampling of our advanced electives
includes Glass Fusing, Advanced Soccer,
Theatrical Set Design, Robotics and Engineering,
Sports Talk and Stats, Advanced Electronics,
Fashion Design, Carnival Game Design, Advanced
Rocketry, Advanced Sketching, Improv Comedy,
Advanced Lacrosse
Aquatics Instructional Swim - Instructional swim
is scheduled every morning for all campers in
grade 6 and below. All classes are based on the
American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program and
taught by certified Water Safety
Instructors. Free Swim - Each afternoon, all
campers are given the opportunity to cool off and
have fun in our pools. Swim Team - Each summer,
we schedule at least one swim meet against
another local camp.
