• About Glass
• African Industries has a state of the art glass
  manufacturing facility, the first of its kind in
  West Africa.
• The plant is located in Ogun State with good
  infrastructure and close proximity to the sea
  port. The plant uses fully automated technology
  and was built with German and Indian
  collaboration .

• African Indistries manufactures superior quality
  clear and coloured figured glass (the only one in
  Nigeria) in different designs, thickness and
  sizes.
• Our products are mainly used for photo framing,
  sky lights, office partition, doors, residential
  windows and ventilators. We sell domestically and
  to other countries in West Africa.
• The group is continuously investing in new and
  improved facilities which will help augment its
  glass production capabilities.

Process of the Glass manufacturing

• Obscure glass is made with a rolled glass
  process. This begins with a batch of seven
  different raw materials, including silica sand,
  soda, and lime. These materials are mixed in
  specific proportions and melted together in a
  furnace.
• Then the molten glass mixture is fed onto a
  machine slab. The glass flows under a refractory
  gate which controls glass volume and speed then
  moves between two counter-rotating, water-cooled
  rollers
