Manager
Chris Tinney started his own brokerage firm at
the start of his career and began specializing in
socially responsible investing. As a social media
manager, he quickly realized the power that
social media can have on an audience, especially
on behalf of a nonprofit organization dedicated
to raising awareness about any issue. Tinney
later developed his experience in social media
marketing by working as a Senior Manager for
several Fortune 100 companies and hosting his own
morning talk radio show.

Chris Tinney, in addition to working closely with
nonprofit organizations as the Managing Director
for Hotei Media and running a few nonprofit
organizations of his own, hosts an Internet radio
show called Up Close With Chris Tinney on the
VoiceAmerica Radio Network. On this show, he
introduces audiences to thought leaders and
organizations that are shaking up the nonprofit
and charity sectors. Tinney hopes his coordinated
efforts will help put an end to poverty in the
United States within his lifetime.

Chris Tinney Devoted to Charitable Causes
Chris Tinney is a devout church-goer who has
spent his career trying to launch his own
nonprofit organizations and helping other
charitable organizations reach more people.
Tinney works as the Managing Director for Hotei
Media, a social media company that works almost
exclusively with nonprofit organizations to help
them with their goals. Tinney founded a nonprofit
group of his own, Spread Peace, which works to
help end homelessness and bring aid to those
suffering on the streets.

Chris Tinney believes that those who can run
their own businesses deserve to get a fair shot
at winning customers over with top-notch
products. He worked as the Vice President of
Financial Services for Kaplan Financial in
Chicago for some time, during which he oversaw 30
million dollars in sales of licensing and
continuing education to many different
businesses. He has since used his business acumen
to found his own nonprofit organization dedicated
to helping the homeless and has helped many other
nonprofits achieve their goals as well.
