There comes a time in the life of each building
or structure when its End of Life for it. It
has to be taken down to make a new structure in
its place. If it is a one or two story building
earlier it was done using hammers but these days
it is done using a bulldozer.
But modern ways of life is complicated there are
skyscrapers which are 40, 50 or a hundred story
high. Well, when one such building has to be
demolished it has to be done using explosive
discharges.

When a Demolition Company gets an assignment to
dismantle a structure it calls in their
Demolition Experts. Experts then decide along
with the Demolition Contractor whether to go for
Manual Demolition, Building Implosion or
Non-Explosive Demolition.
Manual Generally one or two story buildings are
razed using Excavators, or Bull Dozers or
Metallic Sears. This method is only used for
high rise when demolition is not appropriate in
the area.
Explosive As the name suggests high rise
buildings are generally demolished using
explosive charges. The aim is to use minimum
explosive so that the stuff fly around less and
costs are down.

Non-Explosive There are Demolition Services
companies these days which use Diamond wire saws
to demolish buildings and structures. However,
there are only few companies with the expertise
in this method of demolition.
Deconstruction Due to environmental concerns and
to reduce their carbon footprints these days some
go for scientific deconstruction where most of
the stuff removed from the building is actually
reused.
