• A i bought mine in january 2013. my air filter
  has the digital display. if that is the one you
  have it will show you an indicator on the display
  that says "hepa filter reset". mine came up after
  6 months of 24/7 use. i replaced my filter at
  that point. prior to that, i would vacuum the
  whole unit and the charcoal
