Donald Westra Jr. M.D. Creates Second Career
Donald Westra Jr. M. D. has retired from a highly
respected career as an obstetrician and
gynecologist, though he does not currently have
medical licensure in North Carolina and Florida,
where he works today managing rental properties
for his Westra Properties firm. Westra strives
to increase his property holdings in these
states, and Florida is a much desired state for
tourism and retirees, thus making it prime real
estate for rentals.

Donald Westra Jr. M.D. First 5000 Babies Saw
Donald Westra Jr. M.D. is retired from his
obstetrics and gynecology practice after 34
years, during which time he delivered over 5000
babies! But his interest in working with
patients and using his knowledge to alleviate
suffering is as strong as ever. Westra has
participated in medical missions to Venezuela,
Peru and Zimbabwe, and wants to continue his
medical volunteerism on an international basis.

Donald Westra Jr. M.D. Studies Medicine at Ohio
State
Donald Westra Jr. M.D. began his post-secondary
education at The Ohio State University in
Columbus, Ohio, where he graduated Cum Laude in
1974. Deciding upon the study of medicine,
Westra opted to remain at Ohio State to enroll at
the Ohio State University College of Medicine for
the next four years, successfully earning his
medical degree at Ohio State in 1978.

Donald Westra Jr. M.D. Studies at Private Wake
Forest
Choosing the nationally recognized Bowman Gray
School of Medicine for his medical residency,
Donald Westra Jr. M.D. moved to Winston-Salem,
North Carolina, living and working on the Wake
Forest University campus as a medical resident
from 1978 to 1982. Donald Westra became a member
of the Christian Medical and Dental Society in
1982, and became Board certified as an
obstetrician and gynecologist physician in 1984.
