Title: Driving & Stress Relief
1I remember the first time I had a difficult exam
in college, and the stress I felt during and
after the exam was horrible.
2I remember thinking that all I wanted to do is
drive away from the school, and just think to
myself.
3As I have learned one of the greatest ways to
reduce stress for me personally is to just drive
for a little bit, and think.
4By doing this I allow myself time to ponder about
other things going on in my life, and this tends
to put me in a better mood.
5I would like to share some tips on how drivers
can use driving to relieve stress, what causes of
stress, and if stress is really a good or bad
thing.
6Managing your stress levels can be very important
to your health.
7There are many different way to relieve your
stress.
8For me it is driving my car just cruising, but
for some others it could be a meditation or even
something physical like hitting a punching bag.
9You can also try to write the things that are
bothering you and how they make you feel.
10This helps you find out what is causing your
trigger and how much stress you are feeling.
11After you know, you can find better ways to cope.
12You can also just let your emotions out like
laughing, crying, or just talking.
13This is probably the most common way to help you
feel better.
14There are many things that can cause stress and
it is different for every person.
15For some people driving can actually cause stress.
16There are people out there that just absolutely
hate driving not matter how short the drive is.
17Probably the thing that causes stress the most
for people is work.
18Not being happy or content with your job, having
more work than you can handle, or maybe just
having a bad manager or boss that except you to
do more than handle or do not give you any say in
anything.
19Stress is probably worse than you think it is.
20Stress can actually cause your emotions to be
difficult to control.
21It can also hurt your health in many different
ways.
22You love life could also be affected as well
because studies have shown that stress can lead
to impotency in men while causing changes to
children in pregnant women.
23However, with this knowledge you should have a
couple more tools in handling stress.
