Drive around at night to make sure it is the type of environment in which you will feel comfortable living. Read the lease because it is a binding document and represent a long term commitment. Monthly rent. Ask what all included in your monthly rent (e.g. cable, utilities, etc.) and make sure to plan for any costs that are not included. Time to campus.
