One-Bedroom Rents

• Zumper conducted a quarterly survey lately and
  revealed that downward pressures are increasing
  in Denver on one-bedroom rents. Zumper examined
  about one million rental listing countrywide and
  fond out that, in January, the median rent on an
  apartment of one bedroom in Denver was 1,230.
  This showed a decline of 5.4 percent compared to
  the previous year and previous quarter.

Higher Demand

• Demand appears to be higher in Denver for units
  of two bedrooms since the median rent in January
  for those units was 1,740. This is a decline of
  1.7 percent from the precedent quarter. However,
  this is an increase of 5.5 percent from the
  previous year.

Highest Rents

• Zumper revealed that the highest rents among the
  neighborhoods of Denver were from the Golden
  Triangle with one-bedroom apartment costing
  2,150 a month. Lower Downtown came second with
  2,100 monthly, and Cherry Creek was close behind
  with 2,000 per month.

Survey

• The same survey revealed that Villa Park is the
  most affordable one-bedroom units of Denver
  neighborhoods with 790 per month. MarLee came
  after with 800 per month and Sun Valley with
  820 per month. However, Zumper did not include
  the far northeast neighborhoods of Denver such as
  Green Valley and Montbello.

Median rents on a one-bedroom

• When it comes to median rents on a one-bedroom
  unit tracked by Zumper among 50 cities, Denver is
  15th while the city was ranked 13th in the
  precedent survey. At that time, the median rents
  on one-bedroom units were comparable to those in
  Philadelphia and Baltimore on a one-bedroom while
  the rent of two-bedroom flats was close to the
  one in Long Beach, California.
