  Gupta revealed that imported products, mainly
  from China, are a big challenge for local
  manufacturers due to their prices.
• The chairman of African Industries Group urged
  Nigerian Government to fund the steel industry so
  that local manufactures could survive in the long
  run.

• Gupta supported the new policy of the Central
  Bank of Nigeria. He said that it is a good policy
  because Nigeria does not have the foreign
  exchange to backup everyones requests. This is
  due to the collapse of the oil price. The ban of
  some goods from obtaining official foreign
  exchange would allow the national bank to support
  the real sector.
