Major causes of sewer problems Sewer problems can
be caused by root intrusions. Tree roots can grow
close by sewer lines and if they are not handled
in a timely manner, they can cause a pipe to
shatter, sewer pipe crumbling or other sewer
issues. Tree roots are usually the prime suspect
when it comes to sewer damage, with thousands of
feet of roots constantly seeking moisture and
often finding it in your sewer line. Older, sewer
pipes are most vulnerable to this problem. In
addition to root damage, a broken or blocked
sewer can happen in a number of ways. Objects can
find their way into the line and cause a
blockage. Extreme temperature changes and general
deterioration can cause sewer problems, resulting
in drain buckling or breaking. Sewer lines can
also collapse. If you suspect or see some signs

Trenchless pipe sewer repair is a faster and
cheaper option that only requires a few drill
points. This method has saved our clients lots of
money and their time by removing the need for
massive excavations of their properties. There
are two ways to do trenchless sewer repair pipe
bursting and pipe relining. With the first
method, an existing line is blown apart as a new
pipe is pulled through it. With pipe relining, a
fibreglass line is placed inside the faulty pipe
to seal any damage, creating a repair that can
last for up to 50 years.
