Title: Curing Cancer: How Cannabis Kills Cancer Cells

2 Cannabis and the
Cancer Connection
Call it what you will weed, dope, grass, green,
pot, hashish, hemp, Mary
Ja
ne, ganja, dagga, marijuana the names variations
is an endless list. If you want
to be more technical, it
also goes by the name Cannabis saliva and Delta-9
tetrahydrocannabinol
(THC). No plant has ever known so much publicity.
It has
been both crucified
and lauded by the public. All of that is slowly
changing.
Currently, there
are 23 states in the US and several countries
that have either
legalized
or decriminalized the use of marijuana in some
form.
Marijuana,
is perhaps its most popular name in the
international community and
has been linked to hippies andpotheads during
the 6o's. Nixon's 'war on drugs' as
well as marijuana growers
purposely straining out the all-too important
CBD, the
plant's medicinal
values fell out of focus and its psychedelic
properties exploited.
Worse still, once the healing benefits, which
have been around for thousands of
years, were removed, you
are just left with a mild psycoactive drug which
was
labelled as evil,
dangerous and wrong. This was just a cover up by
the
establishment to make
people forget about its medical benefits.
Cannabis was
falsely
perpetrated as being the gateway to harder more
illicit
drugs.
Many people were
hoodwinked with this propaganda while the real
facts
showed that over the
counter (OTC) drugs were far more likely to turn
you
into a junkie.
Prescription painkillers and tranquilizers still
wreak havoc toady,
all the
time earning the pharma giants and governments
huge profits. There are
fou
r times more deaths from overdoses on these drugs
than cocaine and heroin
com
bined, and yet every day millions more pills are
pushed on the unsuspecting.
Cannabis is a great example of how the
human mind can be conditioned to
believe something, even
when faced with contradicting evidence
afterwards.
Growing up, we
are told "drugs" are bad, which is very true,
however not all
substances
that have been labelled as "drugs" by the varying
authoritative
bodies are
harmful. It's possible that substances are
labelled as a "drug" in order
to protect corporate interests.
Marijuana may or
may not be a miracle drug, but with every new
revelation that
it does so
much more than make a user hungry, tired or laugh
it is easy to
comprehend
why every American is not growing and benefitting
from its incredible
health
benefits keeping it illegal is making the
pharmaceutical industrial complex
and prison industry
incredibly rich while people are suffering and
dying.
Fortunately
, the landscape on marijuana as medicine has
changed.
