Sturdy Frame

• 6061 Aluminum, Water bottle and Rear Rack mount
  points. Vilano drift is fairly inexpensive and
  comes with simple features. With this bike, you
  do not have to bother yourself with complicated
  gears.

Great Drivetrain

• The Aluminum Road Bike is built on a lightweight
  6061 Aluminum frame. It features Shimano A050
  thumb shifters and dual brake levers for
  convenience. It has mount points on the frame for
  a rear rack, this bike is an excellent commuter.
  Vilano comes with a double butted aluminum frame
  but is this enough to say that it is a good bike?

The Positives

• Assembling this road bike is relatively easy,
  compared to any other bikes. The instructions
  provided are very easy to understand and you can
  assemble it in as short as 30 minutes. If you are
  familiar with road bikes, you can even assemble
  it in as short as half an hour or you can do this
  if you understand the manual properly. That means
  you do not have to spend one whole day to
  assemble it and you can give it a ride as soon as
  it is done.

The Negatives

• Some people believe that the breaks of a Vilano
  road bike, although made of alloy caliper, are
  not of high quality. Cyclists believe that for a
  road bike, the brakes should be better. Another
  common complaint is the seat. The seat post of a
  Vilano road bike is made of alloy and the saddle
  is urban comfort. But most cyclists find it
  uncomfortable.

• - I actually have one generation back and
  mine is 21 pounds. The new one is 3 pounds
  heavier its something like 24 pounds. I have put
  around 4000 miles on my bike and the weather is
  just getting fired back up for more riding. So it
  will be getting much more.

What Customers Say About It?

• I purchased this bike for a low cost test to see
  if I would like road biking. The over quality of
  the bike is quite good and has been , I feel, put
  together very well. I purchased the bike for
  under 300 so I can't really complain.
• Just getting into road cycling and did not want
  to spend 1000. Had bike for two weeks and so far
  so good. Like the shimano shifters. Poor quality
  tires though. Had a bead blow out after 30 miles.
  But no big deal as the overall price is great.
