Kamran Malek Company President
Kamran Malek is a Fire Protection Engineer, and
the President of International Fire Protection,
Inc. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering
from Tennessee Technological University. His
career in the fire protection industry began in
1981, when he got a job as a design trainee. In
1990 he co-founded his present company, which has
since grown to provide jobs for 270 people and
has ten branch offices throughout the Southeast.
the company has grown from its original office in
Madison, Alabama, to branch offices throughout
the Southeast region. His experience in the fire
protection industry dates back more than thirty
years.

Kamran Malek founded International Fire
Protection, Inc. with a business partner in 1990,
and still serves as the companys president. The
company has been widely recognized within the
industry, including being named the Small
Business of the Year in 2000. IFP now boasts
branch offices throughout the Southeastern United
States, and is headquartered in Madison, Alabama.
Before starting his own firm, he was the design
manager for three fire protection contractors.
The company helps its clients keep fire
protection systems in compliance with fire codes
and with manufacturer requirements. Outside of
work, he has devoted many years to coaching youth
soccer teams and has been involved in many church
activities.

Kamran Malek is a fire protection specialist

IFP in 1990 and remains its President. The firm

a graduate of Tennessee Technological University,
where he earned a degree in Mechanical
Engineering. He began his career in fire
protection in 1981. He has a Level III
certification in Engineering Technologies for
Fire Sprinkler Engineering from the National
Institute for Certification in Engineering
Technologies, and is a 1981 graduate of Tennessee
Technological University in Cookeville,
Tennessee. He is originally from Tehran, Iran,
but has made his home in the United States for
many years.

Kamran Malek Soccer Coach
Kamran Malek is a licensed fire protection
engineer technician and the President and
co-founder of International Fire Protection,
Inc., with headquarters in Madison, Alabama. He
is also a soccer enthusiast who has coached teams
in youth soccer programs for the last twenty
years. As he knows, coaching youth soccer teams
is about more than designing plays or creating
team formations. Its a big responsibility, since
parents are entrusting their kids to the coach,
and it also involves being a teacher, role model
and mentor. Youth coaches must always model
appropriate behaviors and attitudes during
practice sessions and during games by
demonstrating respect for each member of the
team, and praising the players as much as
possible.
