• If you don't have a lot of money for binoculars,
  getting bigger objectives (the 42 of the 8x42)
  gives you a lot for the money. So does the porro
  prism layout (not straight-barreled) .The problem
  then becomes weight. Nikon really cuts the weight
  on the chassis. Have binoculars this will blow
  them away.
