1
Know the Best Age to Learn English as a Secondary
language
2
Many people get confused about what is the right
time to learn a new language. So, the answer is
that the moment you decide to learn anything is
the perfect time to start learning. Learning a
language benefits a learner in all the areas -
mentally, socially and in their career.
3
If you really want to make it big in todays
world, then learning English language is
something that you should really do. Today all
major communication is done in English only and
everyone who wants to be successful and powerful
in society should learn English to a high
standard. Now, as it is proved that learning
English is essential, there is no particular
ideal age to learn English, but there are times
when it can be done better, so lets discuss the
different times of persons life when learning
English can be ideal. From Birth. This is the
absolute most ideal age at which English learning
can happen easily. When a baby speaks its first
word, if that word is in English then English
will be the first language that he/she might
learn. It might be possible that it is the
easiest language to learn for him/her, but babies
can quite easily learn another language after
they have learned their initial language.

During Primary Schooling. If a child hasnt
learned English as their first language, then the
next best time to teach them the English language
is when they are doing primary schooling. Primary
schooling is a very important time during which
children start to expand their knowledge. On the
basis of primary schooling, children will grow on
multiple fronts in the next years of their life.
At this stage the learning power is very high, so
English learning during this time is a good
idea. During Secondary Schooling. If the child
has passed his initial and primary school years
of life without learning English, then parents
have to make sure that they start their children
with English language training right away.
Secondary school students also learn a lot, and
high school study provides them with largely
specialized information. Secondary level of
schooling is quite different from the knowledge
they get in primary school, which means that
teaching them something as basic as learning a
new language is a lot harder to do.
5
During Higher Education. From many years, there
has been a big topic of argument regarding which
time is better to learn between secondary and
higher education, as most people tend to believe
that higher education provides an environment
that makes new language learning a lot easier. In
higher education, students are more exposed to
new ideas and concepts that might completely
change the way they look and think about life. It
makes it easier for them to take on big new
challenges like learning English, than it would
be in secondary school. As an Adult. It is
possible for adults too to learn English, but at
this stage, its a lot harder to do. However one
thing that gives adults an advantage when they
learn English is the fact that adults who are out
of school tend to have a far more disciplined
approach to things like this and for that reason
have the ability to grasp information. Online
English courses are available to help you learn
English according to your own comfort and provide
with all materials you will need to read, write
and speak English in no time.
