MEET THE STAFF
Dr. Thad was born and raised in Hickory, North
Carolina. He completed his undergraduate training
at the University of North Carolina Wilmington
and graduated with honors with a bachelor's in
biology. UNCW is also where he met his wife
Emily, when the two were lab partners in his
senior year anatomy class. After graduation, Dr.
Thad worked as a research coordinator at the
Medical University of South Carolina while his
wife was completing her master's degree in
occupational therapy.
