• Barrett Wissman is a philanthropist, financier
  and a Principal and Co-Chairman of IMG Artists.
• Before Mr. Wissman invested in IMG Artists in
  2003 - apparently a white knight operation, with
  the company going through a bad patch - it was
  owned wholly by IMG, the international sports and
  lifestyle management company. Mr. Wissman's
  takeover shook up the arts world and especially
  classical music management. But it was welcomed
  by insiders who recognized in the Dallas-based
  businessman a passionate advocate for the arts.
• Barrett Wissman is currently a principal in
  several technology, manufacturing and investment
  companies as well as on the boards of several
  for-profit and non-profit enterprises. He has
  continued to be actively involved in music,
  having served on the boards of several arts
  institutions and created several charitable
  organisations. One of these is the Cremona
  Society, a unique international organisation that
  collects and lends rare and priceless instruments
  to deserving soloists.

Barrett Wissman Passionate about Music
Barrett Wissmans commitment to music began at an
early age with serious piano study. He made
several debuts as a concert pianist with
prominent orchestras from the age of 11 and won
several national and international competitions
thereafter. He graduated cum laude from Yale
University in economics and political science and
went on to receive graduate degrees in music from
Southern Methodist University and the Accademia
Chigiana in Italy.
