After completing his Intoxilyzer Technician
Course in 2004, Craig Markham was featured in the
Ontario Gazette in recognition for having gained
his certification. He has always dedicated
himself to professional improvement and took many
additional courses during his time in the police
force in order to become a more effective law
enforcement officer. He is skilled in conducting
investigations and also took a course relating to
criminal thinking that allowed him to understand
the thought processes of criminals.This period of
his life taught him an enormous amount about the
importance of teamwork, in addition to a range of
management skills that he has taken forward with
him.

Former Police Constable
Craig Markham was a police constable for the
Waterloo Regional Police Service between 2002 and
2015 and was tasked with upholding the laws of
the region and ensuring that the public were kept
safe and secure at all times. He approached the
role with vigor and enthusiasm, as he is
dedicated to serving the public in any way that
he can. He now hopes to use the skills that he
learned during this period of his life in his
future career endeavors.

Self-Defense Expert
Craig Markham has assisted the Take Control
Self-Defense Program in Kitchener, Ontario for
the past fifteen years and is delighted to still
be associated with the organization. He currently
serves as an Assistant Judo Instructor, which
allows him to work directly with women and
children so that they can learn the techniques
that they need to know to stay safe at all times.
He is a dedicated and talented martial artist who
aims to use his skills to the benefit of the
community.

Having been involved in law enforcement for
around 15 years, Craig Markham is well-versed in
how to make quick and effective decisions. This
makes him a valuable tool to employers who need
to find somebody who has the foresight and
long-term thinking required to help them to make
important management choices. He has a strong
foundation of knowledge in this area, having
taken a number of courses dedicated to management
techniques while he worked in the construction
industry.
