divorce or a fault based divorce.

 A no fault default is regarded as an
irretrievable breakdown of the marriage.

 For no fault divorces either spouse can file a
divorce petition on their own or a couple may
file a joint petition for divorce.

A fault divorce is usually filed in situations of
domestic violence, adultery, or abandonment.

If you file for a fault based divorced then it
will be your burden to prove the case. In either
situation, you will need a divorce attorney.

If you cannot come to a custody agreement on your
own, the courts do so based on what is in the
best interest of the child. A family law attorney
will be able to best represent your childs
interests.

Child support is determined by the MA Child
Support Guidelines and is based on income. You
can view those guidelines here

. Child support can be modified if income or
employment status changes.
