  Skype and Google Hangouts, the process of
  interview has been more easier through video
  interview. Neither applicant nor employer is
  required to travel anywhere. Just be at your own
  place and connect for the conversation. All one
  needs is a device with internet connection.
• 1. Attire It may be tempting to dress only for
  what is visible on the screen. This is not a
  recommended idea. Even though you are not
  attending interview face to face, it is important
  to dress in complete formal attire.

  the clarity of the camera. If you dont have
  in-built camera option, book a seat in nearest
  internet cafe or purchase a web camera device in

  multiple interviewers are attending the process,
  it gets a bit confusing as to with whom to make
  an eye contact. The best trick here is to keep
  looking at the camera, while talking, and not on
  the screen.

  part of face-to-face interview. Even in front of
  camera, your body language is visible on your
  face and expressions. So dont neglect it. You
  have to look poised and polished and make sure
  that you are not nervous, hyperbolizing or flat
  out lying.

  interview is that you can sit anywhere
  comfortably and attend the interview. You can be
  in your own Kingdom, so it should not be giving
  any excess pressure or tension.
• 6. Say no to Intruders Knowingly or unknowingly
  there might be interruptions from your friends or
  family members.

• 7. Neat Surroundings The last night party might
  have messed up the place and you are supposed to
  sit for an video interview. Make sure this messy
  surrounding is not visible to the interviewers
  for a positive feedback on you.
• 8. Dont search for answers It is not advisable
  to use the internet when you are on video
  interview. You may be tempted to do a quick
  search on internet for something, which is not
  advisable and highly risky.
• 9. How to exit This is another crucial factor.
  How to end the interview and exit from it. Once
  the interview is completed, it is always
  recommended to wait for interviewers to turn off
  the camera first. This ends the possibility of
  any last minute question from the other end.
• 10. Do not panic According to Murphys law, if
  anything has to go wrong it will. And in this
  technology depending world, this holds totally
  true. If unfortunately, the interview got cut
  short due to any technical failure (or any other
  reason), follow-up with the HR and schedule a
  next meeting.
