Winson Tang Clinical Researcher
Winson Tang is the Vice President of Clinical
Research for Sangamo Bioscience, Inc. As Vice
President, he is responsible for all of the
clinical research programs at the company,
including the research of CAR-T-cells for
glioblastoma, as well as programs in HIV,
diabetic neuropathy, and lysosomal storage
diseases. Dr. Tang has enjoyed a highly
successful career as a physician and scientist.

Winson Tang Educational Background
Winson Tang is a highly accomplished medical
professional who has been working for more than
thirty years, gaining valuable clinical and
research experience. In 1978, he graduated Magna
Cum Laude from Tufts University, where he
completed a combined Bachelors of Science in
Chemistry and a Masters of Science in Organic
Chemistry. He then matriculated at the Albert
Einstein College of Medicine in New York. In
1983, he obtained his Medical Doctor degree from
that institution.

Winson Tang Volunteer
Winson Tang has been working in the medical field
for more than thirty years. An experienced
physician, scientist, and clinical researcher,
Tang has experience in multiple technology
platforms including proteins, small molecules,
anti-sense oligonucleotides, and gene and cell
therapy. When he's not busy with his clinical
research work, he volunteers his time for Beat
AIDS Project Zimbabwe, which is a charity that
provides care to HIV-infected patients in
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.He also helped to
develop the European Key Opinion Leader Network
and Advisory Boards for Nephrology.

Winson Tang Athlete
Winson Tang is an experienced and established
medical professional. For the last thirty years,
he has gained experience as a physician,
scientist, and clinical researcher. While he was
enrolled at Tufts University, Tang played
lacrosse as a varsity letterman. After graduating
with a combined B.S. in Chemistry and M.S. in
Organic Chemistry, he continued to stay active.
Today, he is an avid tennis player and can often
be found on the courts during his free time.
