Australia Study Visa Guide
You need to apply for study visa to study in
Australia. Australia study visa guidelines have
been changed and a SSVF (Simplified Student Visa
Framework) has been implemented from first July,
2016. According to the new guides set by DIBP,
all students need to apply for Australia study
visa under subclass 500 from 1st of July 2016.
The Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF)
replaced the previous student visa system. A
single, Student visa (Subclass 500 replaced the
previous seven visa subclasses(570-576). Key

subclasses from eight to two and the introduction
of a simplified single immigration risk framework

Apply Study Visa Under SPP
SPP stands for Student Partners Program.
Association of Canadian Community Colleges
(ACCC) and the Citizenship and Immigration
Canada (CIC) has developed this program in
partnership. It is an arrangement between
selected Canadian educational institutions and
Canadian High Commission in India to provide fast
and easy study visa for the prospective students
to study in participating institutions in Canada.
SPP was started with the purpose to make the
admissions-visa process more efficient and
increase the number of Canadian student visa
issued to Indian students. To apply for SPP you
need to apply to a participating college and if
your application meets the specific criteria,
you may be considered under the program. It is
recommended that you submit your application at
least three months before the beginning of the
academic course. You need to undergo a compulsory
medical examination before submitting your visa
application by visiting one of the Designated
Medical Practitioners in India.
