Romy Minko is an Australia based professional
with work experience in diverse fields. She is
currently employed as a Research Analyst at
Charter Keck Cramer. It is a full-service
property advisory firm based in Melbourne.

• Her job responsibilities in the company include
  data collection, cleanup and analysis pertaining
  to the real estate market in Australia. She has
  previously worked with Dan Murphys as a Customer
  Assistant and also as a tutor to two students.
  Besides that, she has also been a conference
  attendee of It All Adds Up Celebrating Women
  across the Mathematical Sciences at the
  University of Oxford.

• Romy Minko has received many awards, honors, and
  scholarships as a student. While studying at the
  Methodist Ladies College from 2005 to 2010, she
  won Award for Academic Excellence, which is
  awarded to the top 10 of students. Later, she
  went on to study at the University of Melbourne
  and got her name on the Dean's Honours List. The
  same year i.e. 2014, she got Santander
  International Excellence Scholarship in Royal
  Holloway, University of London. This scholarship
  is awarded to students holding the equivalent of
  a UK First Class Bachelor degree and excellent
  academic as well as personal profiles.

• Areas of Interest
• Romy Minko has a deep interest in a wide range of
  subjects, including public key cryptography,
  elliptic curve cryptography, calculus, quantum
  computation, physical chemistry, error correcting
  codes, and organic synthesis. She also likes
  programming is skilled in many languages like
  MatLab, Python, LaTeX.

Having studied linguistics both at University
and independently, she believes that her
understanding of linguistics supplements her
understanding of computer science, making her a
fast learner when it comes to new programming
languages. Romy also has great interest in
athletics and sports, such as netball, swimming,
triple jump sprints. Apart from sports, it is
music that has always fascinated her. She is a
self-taught guitar and saxophone player, and has
even played in Symphonic and Jazz bands at
secondary school.

Volunteer Experience Being a humanitarian,
Romy Minko strongly believes in giving back to
the community by supporting various social
causes. Her philanthropic work includes
volunteering with Don Bosco Centre in 2009. As a
volunteer with this non-profit organization in
Phnom Penh, Cambodia, she took medication to poor
families that were affected by AIDS and also
prepared relief packages for poor communities.
