Philip Sandler - The Author
Philip Sandler has experience as a writer and is
the coauthor of the Environmental Law and
Insurance Handbook, a publication that was made
available by Clark, Boardman Callaghan. The
book was first released during the late 1990s,
precisely in 1997, and in addition to Sandler it
was authored by Kenneth Anspach. After getting a
law degree from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law
back in the late 1970s, Philip Sandler became a
member of the United States Supreme Court, United
States Appellate Court for the Seventh Circuit,
District Court for the Northern District of
Illinois and the United States Tax Court.

Philip Sandler - Growing Up in Skokie
Philip Sandler was born in an Illinois village
called Skokie, a place that got its name from the
Potawatomi word that stands for marsh. With its
massive population (for a village), Skokie has
been advertised as The Worlds Largest Village
for years. The current populace is in the mid
60.000s.
While his professional life is now built on his
law practice, Philip Sandler is also an Illinois
Registered Certified Public Accountant who taught
numerous tax seminars as a guest lecturer
throughout the years. These seminars were often
sponsored by the Illinois C.P.A. Society and were
mostly attended by certified public accountants
and attorneys. The number of the total
participants over the years was in the hundreds.

Philip Sandler- Starting His Own Lawn Firm at the
Age of 28
After finishing as a B.S. in Accountancy at the
University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana with
highest honors and getting a law degree at
IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1976 (J.D.
with honors), Philip Sandler decided to start his
own law firm at the age of 28. In addition to
building his own practice he volunteered to do
pro bono work with the Lawyers for the Creative
Arts organization and other organizations.

Philip Sandler - A Boat Enthusiast
Philip Sandler is a huge boat enthusiast. His
proudest and probably most complex work was the
complete restoration of a 33foot mahogany 1965
Chris Craft Seastrake Cavalier, a boat he
managed to restore to almost mint condition. He
was for years a member of the Heritage Wooden
Boat Club.
Philip Sandler is not only a PADI certified scuba
diver but also went through a rescue diving
training, a course that is said to be the most
challenging one available.
