Tourists heading to London will adore shopping in
this major fashion capital that provides
department stores, brand name shops and unique
boutiques. One place that all types of shoppers
should naturally go to when in the English
capital is the world-famous Oxford Street. This
amazing stretch of road is a fascinating part of
central London that is always busy with visitors
as it includes a vast array of stores. This area

fascinating to visit including the stretch from
Marble Arch to Bond Street. There are numerous

products. The massive Primark store in this area
will obviously appeal to a younger generation of
shoppers, while there is also a New Look and a
River Island. Shoe fans can head to the amazing

this part of the road that are ideal for a bite
to eat in between shops.

From Bond Street to Oxford Circus tube station
there is again more in terms of department stores
including the wonderful John Lewis where shoppers
tend to be able to find most items. There is also
the fantastic Debenhams that has clothing from
designers such as John Rocha and Matthew
Williamson. For the younger generation there is
HM that has excellent clothing that is for the
fashion-conscious. The flagship London branch of
House of Fraser is also here with high-end
fashion pieces and a great collection of shoes.
There is also Gap and Zara that allow travellers
to indulge in an amazing section of retail
therapy while on holiday in London.

The last part of Oxford Street runs up until
Tottenham Court Road that includes the superb
high street favourite of Next. This store is
known for its fantastic queues that form whenever
there is a sale. Here there is also Topshop that
is famous around the world for its outstanding
clothing, shoes and accessories. There are plenty
of other shops here including a four-floor Nike
Town, American Apparel and Uniqlo. There is also
another Primark, which opened in 2012, that is
just as popular as its sister store found in
Marble Arch. There is so much to see and do in
the bustle of Oxford Street that travellers will
definitely need a whole day to experience it
fully.
