    you have to set up interviews. It may sound easy
    for others but Interview Scheduling is a
    nightmarish task for the Hiring Managers.
  • Setting up meetings whether in-person or
    telephonic between applicants and the Interview
    Panel is no less than a challenge.
  • The Hiring Managers need to schedule interviews
    in accordance with the availability of the
    applicants and the interview panel. Its
    important to plan the Interview Scheduling
    properly to ensure you devote good amount of time
    for other important tasks. This post talks about
    how to handle Interview Scheduling efficiently.

  • Preliminary HR Interview
  • For most Hiring Managers, the first step after
    getting a resume is a Screening Interview which
    is telephonic.
  • Roughly 30 minutes should be set aside for this
    task in a day.
  • Applicants might not always be available at the
    first instance when you make a call. Another 30
    minutes can be allocated for Call Backs and Not
    Responding numbers. Next step would be to send
    out the Job Descriptions to the applicants who
    are interested and might be a fit for the role.

  • Before you call the applicant to the office, your
    Interviewer might want to assess his
    capabilities.
