Professional
Byron A Brown, MD is a medical professional who
has vast experience of working with patients,
particularly in the areas of obstetrics and
gynecology. He is a former private practice owner
who now works at a teaching hospital, where he is
afforded the opportunity to impart his wisdom and
experiences onto the next generation of doctors,
while also still being able to treat and provide
quality care to patients in his role as a
consultant.
After completing his residency at the Medical
Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Georgia,
Byron A Brown, MD and his wife made the decision
to move back to Browns hometown in South
Carolina so that he could open his own practice,
focusing on the areas of obstetrics and
gynecology.

Byron A Brown MD - Former Chief Resident
After completing his studies at the University Of
South Carolina School Of Medicine in 1998, where
he earned his Medical Doctorate, Byron A Brown,
MD started his Residency at the Medical Center of
Central Georgia, which is located in Macon,
Georgia. In 2001, he was made the Chief Resident
of the hospital, which gave him an early
opportunity to teach those with less experience,
while also being a demonstration of how
highly-regarded his talents were.

Byron A Brown MD - Electives At Medical School
After completing his studies at Winthrop
University, which he attended on an academic
scholarship, eventually graduating with his
Bachelor of Science Cum Laude, minoring in Art,
Byron A Brown, MD began studying for his Medical
Doctorate at the University Of South Carolina
School Of Medicine.
While there, he took the opportunity to study in
Edinburgh for a year, during which time he
completed a number of Electives in Radiology,
Obstetrics and Gynecology, creating the base for
his later career choices.

Byron A Brown MD - Family Man
Byron A Brown, MD met his wife while working as a
Resident at the Medical Center of Central
Georgia, with the couple having their first child
together during his fourth year at the hospital.
He has always placed great value in family,
having learned an enormous amount from his own
parents while growing up on a cattle farm in
South Carolina. He aims to always set a good
example for his children, both through his work
and how he treats them in his personal life.
