Chess is one of the most interesting and
intelligent board-game. But it is quite difficult
to play chess as it involves lots of rules for

squares of black and white colours. The pieces

Chess Rules The main goal in the Chess game is
checkmating the other king and thus, defeating
the opponent. Checkmate is given when the king is
in a dangerous position and cannot escape from
the other players capture.

the pieces1. Queen is placed on the central
square of the players color of the pieces. For
example if the player has white pieces, he will
place the queen on the central white colored
square. 2. King is placed on the blank space
next to the place of the queen.

laid out with each player taking different
coloured pieces. The player who is having white
pieces makes a move first. The moves are then
made alternatively by each player.

The moves are made until the end of the game.
When any player is unable to play, he surrenders
and the game ends. The player who has surrendered
