Corey Scott Dowd is an avid skier who took his
first lessons at the tender age of four years. 
At the end of lessons that year, he got onto a
regular ski lift, got off with some
encouragement, and sailed down the green slopes
like he had been skiing for a while.

He has progressed from a beginner green run skier
through blue runs and now is an expert black run
skier. He has skied mostly in Colorado at
Breckenridge, Copper, Keystone, A-Basin, and
Vail.  His favorite hills and lifts are at Copper
Mountain.

Corey loves adventure and has also skied moguls,
slaloms, and has done slope-edge tree skiing. 
While he has snowboarded, the balance
requirements are different and he much prefers
skiing.

Corey Scott Dowd has played many different sports
such as soccer, basketball, golf, and volleyball.
He also ran cross country and accomplished a big
race time difference from year start to year
finish.

Corey Scott Dowd has multiple experiences in the
food service industry. He has worked at Edible
Arrangements as a delivery driver. He has worked
as a sandwich and pizza maker at Newks
restaurant.

He also knows how to create smoothies and provide
prompt and courteous customer food service from
his work at Tropical Smoothie Café. He graduated
from New Garden Friends School in 2014.

He has been involved in community service, one of
which is Project Bark which includes animal
shelter deliveries and pet assistance in
neighborhoods. He has also given personal service
to animal welfare groups and a lunch backpack
program.

Corey Scott Dowd plans to enroll in the Sound and
Lighting Technology degree program at Guilford
Technical Community College .
