4How to Host a Wine Cocktail Party Having a wine
cocktail party is a lot of fun. Although, this
might seem to be for only the sophisticated
crowd, anyone can learn about wine and hold a
wine cocktail party. This is a great way to get
together and experiment with new varietals. You
can use any method of a wine tasting when you
have a party but wine cocktail party rocks this
year! The first thing you need to do is
determine the type of wine you want to taste with
your friends. Do you prefer white wines, rosé,
red wines or sparkling ones? The best first
wine cocktail party I recommend to start with is
rosé. You will next need to determine who you
are going to invite to the party. Be sure there
is enough room for all of the guests you want to
invite before you send out any invitations. You
want enough chairs for people to sit comfortably.
You also dont want to have too many people as
it could be a bad situation if people feel
rushed. When you think about the amount of
people you have at your wine cocktail party will
help you know how much wine you need to buy. Be
sure to have enough so all of the guests are
able to taste. Thinking about the who in who
you are going to invite is important also. You
might not want to invite friends who think they
are experts on wine or they might get a little
annoying. This is supposed to be fun so be sure
to invite fun people and people who are open
minded. You dont have to go all out when you
decorate for a wine cocktail party. It is
important to have a white table cloth so the
cocktail color can be properly assessed. Many
people like to decorate with candles, paintings,
and flowers. It is entirely up to you how you
want to decorate at your party. Be sure you have
plenty of light at your wine tasting party. When
you serve different cocktails at a wine cocktail
party be sure that they are served from less
sweet to the sweetest ones. Start with the light
cocktails first and work your way slowly to the
sweetest and heavy cocktails. Be sure to provide
snacks and other refreshments to your guests. You
dont want your guests to be hungry. The most
important thing to consider at a wine tasting
party is driving. If your wine cocktail party
consists of people drinking the wine and not just
tasting then they will need to find a ride home.
Be sure rides have been arranged so all of your
guests are safe when the party is over. Cheers!
5Storing Leftover Wine As you most likely are
aware oxygen is a frenemy to wine. Oxygen
initally enhances the taste of wine. Longer
exposure can at last ruin a wine. While there are
a few fancy accessories available that can help
you remove oxygen from unfinished bottles, in
case you follow one of our two tips, you won't
have to waste a little fortune to guarantee your
favourite wine will last few days longer. Tip
no. 1 One of the greatest dangers to wine is
surface area. The more wine in contact with
oxygen, the more rapidly it will begin to loose
its bouquet. If you've just drank half a bottle,
this implies the remaining wine is currently
exposed to a half bottle of oxygen. This is no
good if you want to finish the wine next day. A
quick tip to keep away from this issue is by
transferring liquid into a littler container. For
this, i tis possible to use a half bottle (375
ml) of wine. These bottles can be found at most
stores that additionally offer regular bottles.
So when you have a wine you need to save,
transfer the leftover wine into the half bottle,
seal it and place the bottle in the fridge. The
wine ought to last no less than 2 more days. This
half bottle is reusable so you can use it again
and again. Tip no. 2 If you don't have a
halfbottle, a great approach to ensure your wine
will last longer is by placing it in the
refrigerator. Because of the low temperature
inside, oxygen is not able to inflict the same
harm at the same speed as it would if you forgot
the bottle out on your table. So as to guarantee
the wine still taste incredible tomorrow, simply
recork the bottle and move the bottle into the
refrigerator. Your wine ought to stay fresh the
following night, ready to be finished when you
return home. Our VINUM MEUM Wine Bottle Stoppers
is an elegant easy way to fulfill this tip that
allow you to store the bottle horizontally
without any messy leaks. These are 100 airtight,
easy to use (not tools needed) and made from FDA
approved Czech Crystal. You should try them
youself or buy it now as a gift!

5 PINEAPPLE MIMOSA
C O C K T A I L R E C I P E
I N G R E D I E N T S 1 tbsp lemonlime soda
(e.g. 7up) 1/4 cup pineapple juice 1/3 cup
champagne or sparkling wine
I N S T R U C T I O N S Chill the sparkling wine
in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. In
a champagne flute, add sparkling wine and
pineapple juice. Top the cocktail off with a
splash of lemonlime soda, to taste. N O T E
S Most mimosa recipes call for a dryer
champagne, like a Brut. If you incorporate the
lemonlime soda, I would recommend a Brut. If
you would like to just use sparkling wine and
pineapple juice, try to find a sweeter variety.
